Oh hai.

First things first: I have a reading/signing/Q%A at Annie's Book Stop in Worcester on Thursday! You should come. I'll be reading some stuff you can buy there and some stuff that is *entirely new*.

This weekend I will be Guest of Awesome at Pi-Con, which should be, yes, awesome.

Adam and Elayna are back home, so my too-quiet house is no longer too-quiet.

I am behind on everything, nyargh. Every week I think "this is the week I can get back on writing Cicatrix", but then Jack was so sick for weeks, and I was unable to cope with anything last week after putting him to sleep. I only have two workdays this week. I must make them count, because next week I *have* to get back on the novel.

I finally gave up on the test knit that was making me twitch and needed concentration and moved on to the one that is garter stitch for a very long time. this was a good decision, as the thought of knitting is no longer making me stabby. Also still working on the Noro striped blanket, the shawl for me, and a worsted scrap blanket.

And now to do write up my theoretical to-do list for today (no plan survives contact with Elayna and Judah) and have breakfast!
