All the small things
Every so often I change my Gchat status message. It's usually stuff like "vote for BARCC for $THING!" or "sponsor me for $EVENT!" People tend to ignore it, I think.
Right now it's, below my name, "has loved you for years".
Just got pinged by beloved ex and still dear friend

Thinking of small things reminds me of a fun moment from the Slutwalk yesterday (note: Dave is 6'5"):
Me: "Having Dave in my line of sight during my speech was a bit help. It's the small things."
Jaclyn: "Dave is not a small thing!"
Me: "So I've heard."
Jaclyn: *splorfle*
...made doubly amusing by the additional presence of one of Dave's exes; I don't know if they ever got that far, but I note that she grinned and looked away. :)
EDIT:kires has called me "Discovery Channel hardcore", which I am keeping.
