Rabbit rabbit!

Happy early birthday to lynxreign, burning_brain, and lordandrei, who advance a year over the weekend!

State of the 'Song
Still easily-exhausted.

April Fool's Day
This is your annual reminder that I don't do April Fool's pranks, because I find them generally cruel. I'm tapping out of the reindeer games, y'all.

Running Late
So no time to do a full breakdown on the April Nerd Wars challenges, except to see that I'm argh about my potential inability to work the one thing I have to knit this month into the challenges. Later for that. Also later for musings about my time in general.

Friday Memeage!
Wearing: Teal cowlneck sweater, jeans, cherry blossom kneesocks.
Reading: Bloodshot by Cherie Priest.
Writing: My Empire for Ashes.
Knitting: Finished the scarf for Grandma just in time. This morning I'll cast on for Elayna's lace ribbon scarf in Dream in Color Smooshy, color: Green Lantern. She needs a long solid-colored scarf for her concert on the 16th, and she puppy-dog-eyed me for a custom piece.
Planning: Seeing Chautauqua! tonight with feste_sylvain, who will sleep over. Tomorrow is a writing day dammit, as Adam and Elayna will both be out. I can go to parties *if* I get enough done. Sunday, no plans. And we should keep it that way.

1st-Apr-2011 07:07 pm (UTC) - Friday...
Wearing: blue jeans, brown Merrells, short-sleeved red/purple/blue asymmetrical striped shirt, standard jewelry.
Reading: Finished rereading some Jim Butcher, might be on to Brisingr next.
Creative endeavor: None as of yet. I didn't even make cookies last night, in favor of watching a movie while reclining on the couch.
Planning: This weekend is a gaming convention in town (technically in the town a few over) called Salute. I'll be attending Friday evening and Saturday. Sunday morning: Hebrew school in which we start discussing Passover with our students and a mock seder. Sunday afternoon: I think I had at least 3 ideas floating around but nothing is set.

I'm not a big fan of pranks, but I do like the faux Public Radio stories that run every year.

This year, Marketplace had the very best one of all. (I will refrain from giving you details unless you want them, seeing as how you are not a fan of le pranks.)
