Gojirawitz Girls Challenge: Ixi's Gambit

Ixi was with me for the rest of the day. We were pretty quiet. I still didn’t tell her why I had to talk to Nioi, or what she had told me. So we just sat in my room, not speaking. We occasionally mentioned something little, like someone she’d seen in the audience, or the shape of a cloud she saw out my bedroom window. Since nothing was happening, I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised when something did. I heard low mumbles, muttering something I couldn’t quite hear.

“Did you say something?” I asked Ixi, turning to her.

She blinked. “No.”

It got just loud enough for me to hear the words. ‘Username… ALightOfALie. Password… Texas Donut.’

I looked around. “Did you hear that?”

“Leo, hear what?” She looked confused, and a bit worried.

“I hear something. It sounds like someone logging into something.”

“Logging in…?”

‘1 Private Message.’

“The Internet, Ixi. Do you have it in Leonteria?”

“We do, but I never use it that often!”

‘Private Message from: ZombieIncinerationAffect’

“Ixi, this is really getting weird. Do you know anyone with a username like ‘Zombie Incineration Affect’?”

Ixi’s eyes widened. “Leo… Think about the first letter of each word. If I’m right about whether that’s affect, and not effect…”

“The voice said it like ‘affect’.”

“Then that clearly spells ‘ZIA’.”

“You’re right…” I thought for a minute. “Then what’s she saying to A Light Of A Lie?”

“I have no idea! I didn’t know Zia used the Internet in the first place. She always said she didn’t like it. But either way, we NEED to find A Light Of A Lie!”

Elayna is writing her way to summer camp! Sponsor her!

I think that was the last of the prompts.

I hope she will explain how Leo can hear the internet. That's a neat power.

No morning post today; we are running late.
