Happy birthday to ysobelle and novelfriend!
Happy early birthday to seanhtaylor, who advances a year over the weekend!
Tiiiiired. Which is unsurprising. Also itchy; possible gluten in the salad dressing yesterday?
Am still waiting for Adam to give me totals; hopefully tonight? We sent the check in, figuring that it'll be close even if we don't quite have it, and we could delay the rent check til Monday if we have to.
Person who won the BPAL box has put in a *pending* payment. Like I'll get the money in a month if I send the box immediately. And I am like big box of rares and no money? Danger, Will Robinson.
"I'm a little concerned that I'm being asked to ship a big box of rare BPAL without actually receiving the payment; it seems a bit backwards! I've never seen a pending payment like this. Plus the auction was to raise money to send my daughter to summer camp, so I need the money by Monday, not a month from now.
I have feedback on BPAL.org as Shadesong, if you'd like to check me out. I didn't see your eBay username listed on BPAL.org's feedback page; do you have a different name there?
I can ship the package tomorrow if I have payment."
I think that sounds about right. But yeah, I'm like UM. PayPal pros, am I obligated to send the package if I technically have not been paid?
EDIT: No, it's not an eCheck. Her reponse is under the cut: ( Read more...Collapse )
Now. I bought stuff on eBay as recently as March 29. And ain't no such thing. I am highly dubious.
May is Coming
Which means April is ending, which means I can stop being as overloaded. And actually start writing about some of the stuff I need to be writing it about.
I am amused that every meal with mangosteen turns into us elucidating all of the philosophical discoveries we have made about ourselves lately that we have not had time to write about.
None today, as I was out all day and night yesterday.
Wearing: Oh look, it is another shirt with an interesting foldy neckline! This one's navy blue. Jeans, black slinky cardigan (doesn't need to match, as it'll be too warm for it before I get to the office, but too cold on the walk to the bus to go without it), Wyrding Studios jewelry.
Reading: A biography of Lucrezia Borgia, The Unthinkable: Who Survives When Disaster Strikes - and Why by Amanda Ripley, and any number of half-finished scattered nonfiction books that my April brain could not get through.
Writing: Not this week. Next week.
Knitting: The baby blanket for a co-worker is about 75% done and hence too big to haul on the bus, so that's couch knitting and the sari silk wrap for fortunavirilis is bus knitting. Must order the yarn for saraphina_marie's custom baby blanket once I know how much money we have.
Today: I still have not heard whether I'm touring the Armory today; I am going to assume not? but keep nudging the contact person. Tonight, Evil Dead: The Musical, rescheduled from last week because of my really nightmarish fatigue.
Tomorrow: Greeting the dawn on the Charles River. Free Comic Book Day. Mailing the BPAL if the person sends me money. Nap? Wake Up the Earth Festival.
Sunday: Harvard Square MayFair a bit if I'm up to it, but mostly a curling-up-on-the-couch day.
