Happy early birthday to cissa, denimskater, and yakavenger, who advance a year over the weekend!

Wiped out after work yesterday again, the result of three and a half hours of GO GO GO, half an hour of ..., then staying half an hour late for something that ought to have happened earlier, IMO. Still tired today, but will hopefully perk up, as I've not had writing time at all this week and am in dire need.

Walk for Change
Team Venture is at $1,621. Can you help boost us to $2,000? Sure you can! Be sure to sponsor the Team Venturites who have yet to make their goals - Adam, Elayna, Terry, Allen, Liz, Jennifer, and Julie could all really use a boost! And it's not too late to sign up and walk with us - even if you don't raise a pile of money, your registration fee goes to BARCC, and you're showing solidarity.

I am so excited! What an awesome team! We're going to have fun. <3

I will be doing a drawing for some stuff for our sponsors. I don't know what stuff yet. A copy of Wind Tunnel Dreams something I knitted, a pendant I made - I will find cool stuff and give it to you because you are awesome. So Sponsor Team Venture!

Inspired by a standard office inkjet printer, U.S. researchers have rigged up a device that can spray skin cells directly onto burn victims, quickly protecting and healing their wounds as an alternative to skin grafts.

Friday Memeage!
Wearing: Blue long-sleeved Boden shirt with fabric leaves and button flowers, jeans, Wyrding Studios necklace, Sihaya earrings.
Reading: For my sins, Amazon Breakthrough Novel contestants. Which I'd've been done with by now had they been more portable and had I not required afternoon naps.
Writing: I have stuff to write for sihaya09 this afternoon, plus some other scattered things; next week I need to begin actively seizing and not relinquishing that writing time.
Knitting: Finished Mom's scarf, and am now working on a baby blanket for a co-worker. Same pattern as last one.
Today: Work, writing, reading/reviewing. Two birthday parties - one yakavenger, one BARCC colleague. We'll see which I can get to - complications just happened.
Tomorrow: All of the errands on my master list woo. Plus making this shirt, more reading/reviewing, and general house stuff. Tomorrow night is two parties; without a ride, I'll be calculating trajectories to see if I can get to both without the Last Bus issue smacking me in the face, because
Sunday: Walk for Change! I report bright and early, 9am. Walkers, you don't have to be there til 10.
