Okay, full rundown: Day 2 of headache, full-body ache, eXtreme fatigue, mental lethargy, really quite a lot of nausea (feeling ill when I even look at food). Still feeling like I'm made of lead and thinking underwater. Got a full night's sleep, at least, and will nap.
And hydrate. Yes, Adam and Mark, I hear you.
Backup laptop is suuuuper sloooow. So if you think you want to sponsor me on Wind Tunnel Dreams: My Empire for Ashes", don't worry, I'll post the whole thing even if I make goal early. I just need the new laptop ASAP. I have deadlines I can't meet on this machine.
Debating cancelling hotel room, if we need that money for the laptop. I hate to do that, because while I didn't require crashspace at Arisia, I wasn't coming off of being sick right before Arisia. I may need a place to rest. We'll see. The bank is being silly buggers about our logins, so at this point we don't know how much money we have and have no way to gauge whether this is workable. And they need Adam to go down in person. Argh.

My place, Thursday, 7pm! Please come. We only have 9 people RSVPed, and she deserves a bigger audience. You'll have fun, we promise! (And if people are right about what I'm down with, I should be okay tomorrow.)
* flutterbychild is doing collaborative art for Haiti relief.
* A link for mangosteen and lifecollage.
* And one for enderfem. Because when I think "giant golden penis", I think enderfem, who took this picture of me. (possibly NSFW.)
* haikujaguar has useful information for you!
* Has anyone here been to The Floating World (tag for kink)? It is relevant to my interests, being somewhat local-ish and not up against a major local con like the Flea always is.
Scientists working on the Cassini space mission have found negatively charged water ions in the ice plume of Enceladus. Their findings, based on analysis from data taken in plume fly-throughs in 2008 and reported in the journal Icarus, provide evidence for the presence of liquid water, which suggests the ingredients for life inside the icy moon.
Post WTD:MEfA. Then either go back to bed or put on a bad movie, curl up under the electric blanket, and knit. This should tell you how wretched I feel: a day at home and too ouchy and nauseated to tidy, and too brain-lagged to write. Ugh.
