* Ate oatmeal, GF lentil soup, stuffed grape leaves, GF cookies.

* Bought ready-made polenta, Tinkyada rice noodles, quinoa noodles, quinoa, GF oats, brown rice crackers.

* BARCC colleague baked me GF cookies! And other BARCC colleague took my diagnosis into account when choosing a post-meeting place: "Can you eat there okay?" The support = awesome.

Medicated and so bedtime now.

Aww! Isn't it WONDERFUL to have supportive community and awesome friends and wonderfulness and yay?

This is what I was going say!

If you ever feel like eating there, Olive Garden has several delicious GF choices.

Excellent - there's one of those near my parents' house. Boston seems to have good GF variety, but my trip to FL next month has me concerned.

Ooh, I love quinoa. Have you cooked it much before?

Not much, but enough to know that I like it. :)

See, in my world, GF stands for gold-filled. As in wire. So I keep sitting here going "... she ate wire cookies?"

Shiny cookies!

Congratulations! And yay on the cookies and post-meeting place, that's excellent.

(Also, FYI, some people react to oatmeal the same way they do to wheat gluten, so keep an eye on your reactions afterward. /unasked advice mode OFF)

*nods* This was pre-packaged instant oatmeal and therefore probably not totally okay; the oats I bought yesterday were Red Mill GF oats, so they should be okay.

I'm glad you have support! (Though it's not unexpected. But it's definitely a good thing to have at times like now.)
