Hedgehog Hedgehog Hedgehog

Oh hai, little hedgepiggie.

Behold! Hedgehog! (Also, sweaty messy 'song, but dude. Hedgehog. Behold him.)

*plaintive look* I require one.

Pictures by the long-suffering felisdemens.

Given your expression in that second picture I would be afraid to give you a hedgehog, as it is obviously the last key plot point in your secret maniacal plan for world domination.
24th-Aug-2009 01:59 am (UTC)
The penultimate plot point, actually. :)

That's what The Dark Tower needed!

Hedgehogs: great pets, 'cause they can't be eaten! ;-)

Oh, and I can't imagine felisdemens actually suffering around you.

There needs to be a children's book or a bar called the Happy Hedgehog.

Bar...then Sir Terry can open it by singing the Hedgehog song!
24th-Aug-2009 01:53 pm (UTC)
The hedgehog can never be buggered at all!
24th-Aug-2009 02:10 am (UTC)
Sweet little hedgehog!

I'm ashamed my mind didn't go there before yours did.
24th-Aug-2009 02:33 am (UTC)
*joins the chorus of "Awwww!"*
24th-Aug-2009 02:41 am (UTC)
Actually, I think that second photo of you is quite good. Happy hedgie joy. :)
24th-Aug-2009 03:26 am (UTC)
I love your smile in the second photo!
24th-Aug-2009 04:52 am (UTC)
The spiny mammal is nice, but the hairy and happy mammal is cuter.

Your cats would never hassle it.
At least not a second time ;)

What do they cost?
24th-Aug-2009 06:05 am (UTC)
D'aww! Somehow you'll have to re-imagine how to be evil and pet the hedgie, since it's rather more prickly than a white cat.

Hedgehogs are great pets. If you do get one, though, I'd recommend not getting one from a pet store and find a breeder where they have been socialized. The ones from the pet stores tend not to be socialized (although you might get lucky.) They are easy to feed, can be litter trained, and are really entertaining! :)

Or how about a rescue organization? (Since no one should really be taking animals that belong in the wild and breeding them for domestication when there are so many homeless, abused, and neglected animals out there that are desperate for homes.)

If you do get a hedgie, I can share tips. I used to take care of them when I worked at the zoo.

They are adorable, and as a bonus, I'm pretty sure they eat bugs.
24th-Aug-2009 01:45 pm (UTC)
Love the expression on your face, there...
24th-Aug-2009 01:54 pm (UTC)
The hedgehog is pretty darn cute.
24th-Aug-2009 03:45 pm (UTC)
I love those things, with their pokies and wiggly noses!

Does the hedgehog require you? :-)
