Oogy stomach. *makes face* Otherwise mostly okay.
(Newer people: this section was a lot more interesting before I got on the right seizure med.)
Speaking of which...
Do any of you university librarians or general librarians have access to the following paper: Schwarcz, R., C. Speciale and E. D. French. 1987. Hippocampal kynurenines as etiological factors in seizure disorders. Pol J Pharmacol Pharm 39(5):485-494? It seems, from what little I've gotten my hands on, to postulate that the seizure disorder can be a side effect of the fibromyalgia. If it's an early-manifesting symptom instead of a separate disorder, hopefully I can cut down on the Lyrica. But I want that article, to bring to my neuro. (Also want to talk to him about fibro probably being a CNS disorder, not rheumatological, so can I just go to him and not my rheumatologist, please? But I want the article in hand so I only have to make one trip.)
Shayara on Facebook
Do not be surprised, when I have more time, if you see some of my characters chatting on there.

We’re giving away around $5 million in 2009 for the development and distribution of neighborhood and community-focused projects, services, and programs. If you have a great idea that will improve local online news, deepen community engagement, bring Web 2.0 tools to local neighborhoods, develop publishing platforms and standards to support local conversations or innovate how we visualize, experience or interact with information, we’d like to see it! You have the opportunity to win funding for your project and support within a vibrant community of media, tech, and community-oriented people who want to improve the world.
The Autumn Shakespeare Season begins...
With Midsummer Night's Dream at MIT.
Just two weeks after a Nobel Prize highlighted theoretical work on subatomic particles, physicists are announcing a startling discovery about a much more familiar form of matter: Scotch tape.
It turns out that if you peel the popular adhesive tape off its roll in a vacuum chamber, it emits X-rays. The researchers even made an X-ray image of one of their fingers.
Oh, jeez. Same as yesterday, carry the 3. This has been a week of flurries of e-mails, working on a dozen projects at once.
