Worthy of note: Aside from a few larger donations, most of this is minidonations of $10-$15 or microdonations of $2-$5. Those add up. They really do. Several people expressed embarrassment that they can only give $5 - but that's what you'd pay for a magazine full of stories, y'all.
So that's an interesting note. People are willing to pay $10 (the most common amount) for a single story. This would seem to be in direct conflict with the "no one buys SF/F magazines" viewpoint.
Questions for the reader and sponsor:
* Do you buy SF/F magazines?
* If not, why not?
* What makes you willing to sponsor stuff like Wind Tunnel Dreams and haikujaguar's Aphorisms of Kherishdar?
Apologize if I'm making little sense. Sick-person brainfog. Think my fever's breaking, though.
