First day back after nearly a week of travelling. Have already unpacked, but need to settle back in. And repair the damage Adam and Elayna did to the house in the meantime. Am feeling overwhelmed, so I'll need to take today slow.

I have a lot of thoughts that need writing up; you'll likely see bits and pieces of them crop up over the next week or so.

This month is going to be crazy. So, uh, unless you're an established partner or someone I'm doing business with, don't count on seeing a whole lot of me. Speaking of which...
Calling people who make websites!
Anyone have time to have lunch and work on a few small projects? I need to get my professional website and the Wind Tunnel Dreams site up.
Status of Projects
* Shayara - map exists. Need to getexcursively to load it up and show me how to make bits of it clickable, so I can embed story. Have started on Katrina's story, but haven't really hit the vein yet; that'll be a project for next week. I want to launch Shayara on January 1. *I* can do it. It's just a matter of getting the website set up.
* Wind Tunnel Dreams - have separated 'em into four categories - can submit now, needs minor edits, needs major edits/expansion, useless. Fortunately, the last category has the least stuff. Will work backward from least work needed to most work needed, if only so I can get the short stories done and out the door before I jump into a novel.
* Seizure Lass - yeah, yeah, I know.
Everything else waits. Places You Haunt, Walking on Water... I can't do *everything* at once.
I was supposed to have a weeklong writing retreat post-Christmas, but airfare back wasn't affordable unless I flew back with Adam, so no retreat for me. :(

Daily Science
Imaging scientists on NASA's Cassini mission are telling a tale of how the small moons orbiting near the outer rings of Saturn came to be. The moons began as leftover shards from larger bodies that broke apart and filled out their "figures" with the debris that made the rings.
Plans
Today: Aaaagh. Like I said, lots of settling in. I'm going to try to put together the Gazelle so I can get some exercise, and I need to do some editing and cleaning, and I have a lot to do online. Tonight,s00j's farewell-for-now concert.
Tomorrow: I'd like to hit the Everybody Loves Latkes party. :) After that, date night withfeste_sylvain!
Sunday: Bazaar Bizarre.
