Saturday took a lot out of me. Slept 11 hours Saturday night, but still felt sluggish all day Sunday. And my sleep last night was light and interrupted, so we'll see how I do today.

The Atrocious Attic: A shadowy shrine filled with forgotten toys, broken dolls. The altar: a collapsing trunk distended by a rotted wedding gown. The air of the room is dusty, laced with the scent of a child's perfume and the remnants of a dried, crumbling bridal bouquet: tea rose, violet, white sandalwood, French lavender, and Calla lily.
In bottle: First rose,then a layer of lavender that swells up over it.
On me: *koff* *koff* Yup. That's rose and violet.
The Twisted Oak Tree: Blackened, rotted oak wood blanketed in moss and choked by a cloak of grasping ivy.
In bottle: Ooooh. I get the ivy first. The oak is light - like it's already rotted away and exists only as a framework for the ivy.
On me: The ivy mingles with the moss. The oak is still an undertone. Forgotten trees...
