Last night, she had what she described as a thunder-like rumbling in her left ear, accompanied by a little bit of pain and a strong urge to cry - the urge to cry bewildered her, because the pain was not that strong. It twinged again later in the evening, and we got a call from school that it had acted up again. She says that her left ear is the only one that gets swimmer's ear in the summer, too.
I've made an appointment for her (new doctor!), but in the meantime, I was wondering if any of you had any ideas other than possible ear infection. This is the only thing that's bugging her... no fever, no lethargy, just perfectly healthy girl with intermittent issues with that ear.
