Happy birthday to chris_walsh and tww1fa!
Saved up spoons for trick-or-treating. Blew all the spoons on trick-or-treating. Back on Square -10. Looking for a massage therapist. (Which Adam's medical plan will chip in a bit for, actually. I love Boston!)
I am feeling very disconnected this week. I suppose it comes at least partly from existing in this alien state of mind for so long, where all customary daily activity is replaced by packing - moving - unpacking and organizing. And partly from the fact that I've not really gone anywhere but Target, Shaw's, and Trader Joe's since I've been here... I have not explored my new city. I will likely start that on Thursday. It's just that the unpacking has taken over my brain, and I'm in rather a lot of pain - making the bed hurts my arms. I know that unpacking makes it worse, but I can't lie about in bed all day, you know? I'll find a balance. It will be nice when all of these empty boxes are out of the dining room - then we can haul bookcases out of Adam's office and books out of mine, and start having this place somewhat resemble a home.
And I am rambling. Yes, I know.
Voter fraud, as expected.
I need these bears for my species dysphoria collection!

Scientists at an English university have grown a miniature artificial human liver in a major medical breakthrough.
It is hoped mini-livers could be used to test drugs, reducing the need for animal experiments, help repair damaged livers and eventually produce entire organs for lifesaving transplants, the Daily Mail newspaper reported.
The organ, which is about the size of a thumbnail, was grown using stemcells in blood taken from umbilical cords.
Carnaval Diabolique, Act II, continued...
Xanthe, the Weeping Clown: Guava, orange peel, white pepper, spun sugar and apple blossom.
In bottle: Very fruity - guava, I guess, since I'm not picking up orange peel...
On me: Horrible metallic fruit salad. Blech.
Gennivre, L'Artist du Diable: Hyson tea leaf, pale mint, sugar cane, orange blossom, lemongrass, and honey.
In bottle: Mint tea!
On me: Yep. Mint tea. Oh, I like it. Very refreshing... a good scent for hot summers!
