Little cramp, my ass.

Short Chick - khaosworks
I ended up inadvertently cussing out my gynecologist, that hurt so much. Yes, kinda like the chest-waxing scene in The 40-Year-Old Virgin.

I already knew I was small. Now I know that my uterus is tilted. Which = more pulling at the cervix.

I am ouchy and nauseous, and I'm going to go lie down now.

Ugh, that sounds icky. I'm sorry...

Ugh.. not that I really know, since I only have the female perspective, but I think messing with the cervix in unpleasant ways has to be sort of the equivalent of kicking a guy in the groin. I think the procedure I had done there is one of the most painful thing I've ever had to deal with and it definitely causes nausea...not to mention cramping from hell and a general feeling of really horrible pain. Seriously, I can't imagine that getting kicked in the groin (as a guy) would be worse. Maybe equal, but probably doesn't last as long as what I felt (I hope).

Anyway, I hope you feel better soon. You've had enough to deal with this week.

*sympathies*

I also have a tilted uterus, so I can sympathize. :(

Whuf- was this Mirena related..? I thought you had to postpone that?

Y'know I don't think women have a tilted uterus, because as a supposedly variant occurence I seem to know lots of women who get told they have type of set up, usually after a painful exam.

I think inept, hamhanded gynos us that as an excuse when they go in and smash around.

"Hey, I don't suck at this, you just have tiny/tilted issues, not my bad."

[WINCE] Darn. Tell Adam or whoever it is to stop jabbing your "tilt" button so hard: It's gotten stuck.

try having one that is almost completely inverted. Yes, it sits almost UPSIDE down. Add child molestation issues and you'll understand why I've kicked numerous obgyns across a room and into a wall.

Ow ow ow, I'm having sympathetic pain for you. My uterus isn't tilted but I've gotten banged on the cervix plenty of times...it IS how I imagine a kick in the balls might feel like.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that your gyno is such a tool.

Crap! I hate to hear that. I'll be getting mine once the post-partem body sorts itself out (tho, I'm going for the 10-year). I'd hoped it wouldn't be too bad, but if you're experiencing pain, then I'm screwed. I'm "unusually sensitive" down there apparently. Even paps cause me pain. :-(
I hope your pain subsides quickly. Hey! At least it's not bone/musculoskeletal pain of fibro, right? I know, I'm not much help.
