In my absence, Jack has decided to provide for Elayna. Dead chipmunk in her room for a midnight snack.

Adam said Jack looked terribly peeved when Adam disposed of the corpse. "But Daddy! Mama's not here to give Elayna food - I was helping!"

Sleep-dep sucks, brain has melted, histrionic aunt coming to visit today, fibro pain bad... yep. It'll take a while to recover from this.
