The uncertainty principle of heart monitors

* I am not sleeping well, due to the fact that I have this big clunky thing strapped to me. Is this disrupting my normal heart patterns? Is the fact that I'm napping during the day doing so? Read: Is the fact that I am wearing a heart monitor preventing the heart monitor from gathering useful information?

* Am I being more sensitive to things my heart is doing because the fact that I'm wearing a monitor draws more attention to it? I'm recording the flurries in my diary. But the times when it just sort of feels odd - should I be recording those, or is that just me being oversensitive because I'm wearing a heart monitor?

* It's *not* getting an average reading, because this is the weekend. Should have done this during the week.

In other news, now I remember how much high heels suck. The wedding, however, was lovely. :)
