No - but it's on my to-read pile!
From what I've read, you've got a kid that doesn't eat meat and is allergic to dairy. Doesn't that make things . . . tricky?
Ach, no - she eats meat. I'm the one who doesn't like to eat meat.
She drinks calcium-and-vitamin-D-supplemented orange juice and take extra-calcium vitamins to make up for the lack, btw.
What question are you dying to answer?
I don't think there really is one. I tend to talk about anything that enters my head here, whether I'm asked or not.
Do you believe in rock & roll, & can music save your mortal soul?
Yes. Yes, I do.
I used to believe in sex, drugs, and rock & roll, actually. Quitting drugs has left me more time for the other two.
When are you moving to Boston?
Soon as Adam gets a job. :)
What's missing? What used to be missing, but isn't any more?
I don't know. Um. Clarify?
This may be too personal, but I'll ask anyways. :) How much does Elayna know about poly, esp. in relation to Yendi and Docorion?
She knows nothing - not officially, anyway. I'm very snuggly with all of my friends. I don't know if she parses the extra degree of snuggliness between me and my partners. This is something that we're going to Officially Discuss once we get to Boston.
She really like docorion, by the way. Did a little squee when I said I'd be seeing him this weekend. :)
What is your favorite childhood memory?
When I slept over at my friend Jeff's house (the guy you met at Epcot, kires), we used to build tents, forts, with sheets. Took up the whole room. And we would put on radio plays.
What I wouldn't give for some of those audiotapes...
When did you first realise that you enjoyed the domination/sublimination (right word?) side of sex?
Submission, actually. When I was a teenager, and in a bad way. Took me a while to come to terms with it.
Where's the bathroom?
Down the hall, first door on the left.
At what point do you move to Boston, even if Adam doesn't have a job?
Memorial Day weekend '06.
(Apologies if this has been asked before, and please don't feel you have to answer if you'd rather not): Which of your characters do you most identify with and why?
Jinkies. It depends! So many of them, in so many different ways. Right now I'm having a dilemma that has me identifying heavily with Julia, my primary protagonist. (That's her in the icon.)
Generally Julia, Fenris, Capri, Jessamyn... but everyone, from time to time, in different ways.
Are you going to get a job in boston?
Writing will be my job! I'm won't have a 9-to-5 job outside the home. docorion is helping me focus on being able to Just Write/give my body a rest. I'm still stunned by the magnitude of it. Incredibly grateful.
Ask me more!
