Finally Friday!

Happy birthday to mplscorwin!
Happy early birthday to theferrett!

Very little sleep last night. I think it's the Zonegran. *sigh* So. Exhaustion. Nausea. Little bit of brainfuckery. Little bit of coordination fuckery. Vision MOSTLY okay. EDIT: Okay, brainfuckery BAD.

Addendum re: Sleep
Sleep issue, once I actually got to sleep, was not helped by the fact that the cat opened the door at some point last night and settled on my legs. So every time I moved, I woke up about 35%. Just enough to go "Uh? Wha? Oh. Cat. Wha? CAT?!?!? Uh." and fall back asleep. Not enough to actually get up and remove the cat from the room.

No, not Jack. Max. The smart cat. Jack doesn't open doors. He only opens tampon boxes.

54 documents and counting. One of the things I really like about this is that I can work the way I work - purely stream of consciousness - and then it can be sorted logically.

Spoiler City
Spent a big chunk of last night babbling to Adam about Shayara after the end of the story proper. phantom_wolfboy says, ""Books have ends. Stories don't." And he's right, dammit. I walk in story, but - I have to present books! Aaagh. I feel like I'm standing over my characters with a scalpel...

I have millenia of story. Shayara - the story, the comic or book that I am presenting to you - is just the one piece that I have chosen.

There's a reason that it bears the name of the city.

Boring! Black T-shirt, jeans, "all about me" socks from Helly, purple bra and purple panties.

The Book of Flying by Keith Miller, and the past few months of Better Homes & Gardens.

Yes, I read BHG. Remodeling advice. Shut up.

Three-day weekend! Wow. That snuck up on me. Cool.

Rest. Lots of rest. And getting Elayna's room done.
