Sunday Sunday

* We saved $11 off our Thanksgiving groceries with coupons. And an additional $7 in advertised sales. And another $7 in unadvertised sales. The universe clearly understands that we want to do an amazing fabulous wonderful dinner but are on a budget.

* I was able to get through the entire shopping trip. I was leaning heavily on the cart by the end, and relying heavily on the phrase "I don't care, I wanna go home," but I made it.

* I have a neat little binder with all necessary recipes in it.

* I also made a neat little binder for all of the main-dish recipes that we keep tearing out of magazines. It has dividers that say "vegetarian", "poultry", "cow", "pig", and "filthy things what come from the ocean". Okay, just "seafood", but only because I didn't have enough space.

* Those last two things mske me feel all kinds of industrious.

* I turned in my TwoHeadedCat article several days early. w00t. It's not about what I was going to write about, but that's gwynraven's fault.

* Dinner is now ready.

Am I not exciting? Are you not delighted to be reading about my glamorous life?
