I react the same way. All giddy and hyperfocused and requiring and delivering infodumps and checking to see if an e-mail's been replied to semi-obsessively...
I'm a fairly intense person. I think that's pretty obvious. :) And that intensity really comes to the forefront when I have a new very-good friend or partner.
I was going somewhere else with this, but I dropped the ball and it went rolling over there... I'm gonna go chase it. But I'm gonna leave this up as a placeholder, a reminder to come back to this and 'splain. (And new person-of-great-interest - you remind me as well, yes? :))
