To-do List

Hello to new readers doeeyedbunny, feste_sylvain, jirikido, and stakebait!

Feet still troublesome. Will call doctor. Brainfuckery still hanging around, making itself a cup of tea and setlling in for a nice long stay. Achiness was at about a 6 yesterday, and is about a 3 right now. *crosses fingers* Fatigue was at an 8 yesterday, but I'm perky this morning, and hope to keep it that was by staying active til my focus group.

Hey Spooky!
Look, honey, you can have a hobbit hole!

Hey Adam!
Ten candy bars you'll never get to eat.

Buy now, or wait til next week for shipping!

Quote of the day
"That whole phoenix thing isn't everything it's cracked up to be, you know. Even after you burn, everyone expects you to be more or less the same bird, and if you're not careful, you can spend years trying to be." - Catherynne M. Valente (catvalente

Daily Science
Scientists have developed an artificial plastic blood which could act as a substitute in emergencies.

Researchers at Sheffield University said their creation could be a huge advantage in war zones.

They say that the artificial blood is light to carry, does not need to be kept cool and can be kept for longer.

The new blood is made up of plastic molecules that have an iron atom at their core, like haemoglobin, that can carry oxygen through the body.

Picture of the Day
See? I really did bring brains to the party.

Don't have time to review BPAL if I'm to hit the road with Adam and the kid... later or tomorrow. *nods* Have a good Monday!

I got home around 2 (workout, home for shower, focus group (they gave us yummy sammiches!)).

The phone's been ringing about every five to ten minutes since I got back.

I came home to 37 e-mails, plus the postal mail (which I still haven't finished opening - beetiger, the package arrived safely!).

I cannot handle both the phone and my life today. Therefore, I am turning off the phone. If you need me, e-mail me; I'll be flitting through the room where the computer lives fairly frequently. If it's not urgent, e-mail me sometime else. I need space, y0.

It will be better tomorrow, when I have more than 5 minutes of alone time. Shadesongs require solitude and writing time.

Anyway. Yes. The phone is off. Thank you.

"It's like a turducken of evil."

The problem with writing multigenerational stories is that you've got some unspeakably sick and wrong characters inflicting themselves on each generation. I want to scrub my brain now.
