Happy birthday to my beloved docorion. :)

Exhaustion + nausea. Mild vision and coordination fuckery. Shortness of breath; no chest pain yet today. (Palpitations every damn day; I just haven't been noting them unless they've been occurring at the exact moment I'm typing my morning report.)

Mother tried to pick a fight over dinner. I refused to participate.

Boston now please?

They're taking Elayna to visit family in Roswell this afternoon; I'm staying home on grounds of exhaustion, which is true. It's been a far more active week than usual, and I've not had a single break.

Dark red snug polo shirt with a cherry where the horse ought to be. Jeans. Hello Kitty panties. Piggie socks.

The IKEA catalog, in the car - duuuuude. I'm way late to the party, huh? But duuuude. I'm thinkin' it'd be cheaper to leave our bedroom set in Atlanta and just buy a new IKEA set ($149 for a queen bed?!?) in Boston - less bulk to move, can get a smaller truck, et cetera.

Our Amazon order, courtesy of Adam's gift certificate, just arrived, so after my parents leave and I have more than 30 seconds at a time to read, I think I'll be diving into The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror, Eighteenth Annual Collection. Always one of my most anticipated books of the year, and this year even more so, because it includes work by catvalente!

Ha! Um. Napping. Going to bed as soon as I can get rid of my parents tonight.
Tomorrow: Seeing my parents off to Florida. Napping. Chasing fireflies with Miss Kid - I promised her she could stay up a little late for that.
Sunday: Getting Elayna all ready for school! Possibly dissecting the Owl Puke she got at the museum. We scheduled that for Monday, but Sunday may work better.
EDIT: Going to see Sky High Saturday or Sunday, whichever works better. :)

Oooh. Shiny.

Last day of the year we'll have babysitting, effectively, since our last babysitter just moved to Denver...

The Aristocrats is opening today.

Aw yeah. Change of plans. While Elayna is out to dinner with her cousin? Adam and I will be taking in a movie far too foul to bring her to, on the one day it's possible for us to see it. *bounce*

(Now if only a theater near us would pick up Murderball...)
Katchoo - Terry Moore

I feel much better now that I have my test results and my cardiologist appointment and all of my ducks in a row, and don't have to spend large chunks of my day, every day, calling (I'm phone-phobic to begin with and sometimes verbally fucked) various doctors' offices and reciting my medical story (heart palpitations, shortness of breath, and chest pain, I had bloodwork on 7/28 and a holter monitor, when do I get my results? / my doctor gave me an emergency referral, you need to get me in earlier than October version) two to four times per day, then wait around the house so I don't miss the hypothetical callback and wonder what time I should call again, and wonder if I should go to the ER Just In Case...

The very fact that I no longer have to keep fucking calling these people eases my burden tremendously. That I no longer have to spend my ENTIRE DAY struggling to deal with people who ACTIVELY HATE helping people and refuse to do their godsdamned jobs. Which is a hell of a relief. Because dammit, I have enough already. (Boston now please?)

All y'all are seriously horny today, huh?

Personally, I just had phonesex with the birthday boy, so I'm good to go. But yeah. Something in the air.
