Tew's Day

Happy birthday to mouseferatu!

Hello to new reader live4lyfe!

Haven't taken pills yet. Watch this space.

Exhaustion yesterday was like dude, though; I was asleep by ten, I think. But I had a day and night of vigorous activity.

Plotting and Planning
Depositing checks in bank on way home. Checking to see if moniqueleigh's money order has arrived yet - moniqueleigh, when did you send it? As of yesterday, it isn't here! Writing out a check to the troop and depositing that, with the cash, in the troop account at the troop bank. Then that will be done.

Need to keep that orderly in my brain.

The sex with docorion is so good that my brain is having trouble parsing it.

It is so good just being with him. And he has space-heater hands.

I think yendi and I scared him when we started talking comics.

He fits. He cooked dinner and we had a nice family dinner and Elayna even tried couscous and asparagus because for to be nice. And this is just so good.

Poop. I forgot to bring Shooting Star #6 in to work. One of the professors wanted to see it. yendi, remind me to bring a copy tomorrow, okay?

Es... Muuucha Galleta!!!

Professor: "Can you post this algebra seminar notice for me?"
Me: *does arcane things with xemacs and LaTeX* *notices the phrase "Costa Rican Snacks will be served"* "What exactly are 'Costa Rican snacks'?"
Professor: "I'll show you some on Monday. Unfortunately, the more exciting possibilities can't be brought back to the US due to USDA import restrictions."
Me: "Should I be afraid?"

The seminar was in the afternoon, so I didn't get to experience the Costa Rican snacks firsthand. But he did not forget me.

I have Chiky galletas con chocolate, and you probably do not.

*warbles* "I don't wanna close my eyes
I don't wanna faaaaaall asleep
Cuz I'd miss ya, babe
And I don't wanna miss a thing....."

I would like to point out that I am singing the New Found Glory cover of that song. So I'm being punk, you see.

Ish. Punk-ish. A bit. Anyway.

What I am saying is that I am running on a serious deficit of spoons. Not just running low. Running on a deficit. Have been all weekend. Did yesterday.

I want to Maximize My Time, dammit.

This is upsetting.

Had yesterday a postcoital bitchslap of "you ain't movin', honey", and I probably should only have had sex once yesterday.... but it is so good. Mmm. *squirm* *eyes clock*

I'm just having that thing where I get super-exhausted just from going out to lunch. And I'm pushing myself - I'm going out to lunch and I'm playing with docorion and I'm doing all of this stuff and I'm held together with sheer willpower and ... I was going to put something else there, but it's pretty much just willpower.

I fell asleep on him twice yesterday. *rueful grin* Once while Elayna was doing her homework, once almost-immediately after sex - I'm such a guy.

I don't want to nap. He's only here for a week.

(And I want lots and lots of sex. But he's too big for the amount of sex I want. Need recovery time.)

I think maybe I need to nap soon as I get off work today. Maybe that'll help for this afternoon.

Spidey News!

Thomas Haden Church, who was nominated for an Academy Award for best supporting actor in "Sideways," has been cast as Spidey's new archenemy in the next chapter of the "Spider-Man" franchise.

Director Sam Raimi made the announcement Monday along with producers Laura Ziskin and Marvel Studios' Avi Arad.

"Spider-Man 3," which is scheduled for release May 4, 2007, will reunite the team that was responsible for the first two blockbuster films, which combined to gross more than $1.5 billion in worldwide ticket sales.

The new film will again star Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, and Kirsten Dunst is expected to reprise her role as Mary Jane Watson. Production on "Spider-Man 3" is scheduled to begin early next year.

"In addition to the ongoing relationship between Peter Parker and M.J., these films are driven by the great actors who have brought our villains to life," Raimi said. "Thomas Haden Church will be a fantastic and challenging new nemesis, and we all look forward to working with him."

The filmmakers are not revealing the identity of the new villain.

This rules out Hobgoblin being the new Big Bad. Which is an excellent idea. Let Harry stew and brood for another film at least, please, if only that.

Not revealing the identity of the new villian.

We've already seen Curt Conners. I don't think Raimi would recast Conners.
