I just have to make the notation that two of my LJfriends have used that exact subject line today. Another just finished God-Emperor of Dune. And mightywombat apparently has a TapeSandWorm.

Me news - my LJ, so it IS all about me, thankyouverymuch - vicodin worked today! Huzzah! Just re-dosed... had to pick up kid first. And let me say that when that stuff starts to wear off, it wears off FAST.

Neurologist's office called back, btw; the nurse says vicodin's fine in terms of interactions. She delicately said that my neuro hoped I wouldn't be taking it for LONG... I 'splained, and she was relieved and hoped I'd feel better soon.

I read every magazine in the house save Wizard. Go me! And Family Circle wants me to resubscribe, but no dice... I have enough to keep track of already. Just read FamilyFun, Bitch, FHM, Woman's Day - and that's just today. And now there are bridal magazines...

Elayna loves the video for "Weapon of Choice", incidentally. Her tastes are varied and mature.

I can't open my mouth wide enough to eat much. Oatmeal this morning. White Castle burgers just now. Hurts to open my mouth enough, but I have GOT to put food in mah belly. And I am drinking carrot juice. And rinsing with salt water.

I watched several episodes of the Brini Maxwell show today, and several episodes of Fushigi Yuugi last night.

I am going to see Kill Bill 2 tonight, thanks to the general niftiness of bpjohnson and hockeyrules88. I hate being dependent on other people, but BrYan is good for these things - and hockeyrules88 just moved very close to here, so I have a new person to help...

If I had unlimited cash I would buy just about everything at Femail Creations. Also - a pony.

I need to get Elayna a blank book for the writing marathon tomorrow, dammit, and I have a severe lack of opportunity. She wants to write in one of those fabric-covered sketchbooks like her friend Ali. I saw Ali's book, and it IS neat, in that it looks like A Real Book. Anyway, she's also discovered The Babysitter's Club, so she can tote along some of those.

I'm making my molasses ginger cookies for the marathon. Go me!

I know I'm gonna want popcorn tonight, but I cannot have it. That's the kind of thing that could get stuck in the empty sockets really easily.

I am holding a Spongebob ice pack to my face as I type this.

yendi will be away all weekend. This will be a weirdness.

I think I'm done typing now.
