I Hate It Here - Transmet
Because people have asked for PayPal info.

Jack is going to the vet tomorrow. We're accepting donations for him preemptively because whatever testing he'll need will cost everything we have and then some, and then there'll be treatment. We are freaking out here because his set of symptoms leads to Nothing Good, and some very expensive Nothing Goods. I will be doing WTD; I just can't cope with starting it today, as I am 100% spoonless. If you donate to Jack, you get to give me a writing prompt that I have to use, so if you have anything you really want me to write about, hit it. If you want to donate a thing to be auctioned for him, please comment in my previous post.

I hate asking. I HATE asking. But people have requested the Paypal info, so.

I will have more brain and cope tomorrow, I hope, but for right now I really need to collapse into bed. (Yes, I slept poorly last night, too.)

Jack is a real good looker, but could you PLEASE add width="100%" to the <img tag? The pic is REAL big.

Sorry about that - is that better? (I can't tell; I'm using LJ's interface directly, and big pics apparently look normal-sized in my journal style.)

Much better.

Yup, that's perfect. Thanks so much.

My heart and good thoughts are going out to you and to Jack.

Depending on how my latest firings go, I may have something to donate for auction. I'll keep you posted!!

Could you put the pic behind a cut, or else resize it? Not to shatter my friends page quite so comprehensively? Ta. (At the moment, it's so big I can't even see it...)

I suggest you use adblock for things like this. Click-click, and the image is gone.

but we WANT to see Jack, just not so big.

My tux cat, Onyx, is a non-eater as well. Very skinny, but active and affectionate.

Jack is usually borderline-pudgy. I can feel his bones now, and it's freaking me out.

(Max (in icon) is featherweight, but he's 17; Jack should not feel like Max in my arms. Picking Jack up should make my back twinge.)

Ooh, really? See now, I did not know that. Thank you!

I kicked a little something into the pot, and I hope I can dig around in the couch cushions for more...

Best of luck to you and Jack. I'm so sorry that you have to go through this again...Take care, and try to get some rest!
