PSA! - by Zarhooie
Dear others who are home sick today: Amazon is now offering all of its movies and TV shows on demand free to Prime customers, of which I am one.

Seeing as I am not budging off this couch, this is particularly well-timed.

...I will not watch The Human Centipede. Not without Adam.

Ooo. Thanks for the tip! I'm home today with a backache, so anything I can watch on my computer while I lay in bed is good.
22nd-Feb-2011 04:07 pm (UTC)
What the hell is the Human Centipede?
22nd-Feb-2011 04:29 pm (UTC)
You might honestly actually not want to know. o.O

P.S.

...I will not watch The Human Centipede. Not without Adam.

Oh, because Adam's snark shield is impressive and strong. That'd be the only way I'd want to watch it.

It's something that would make Stefan from SNL flinch.

OH STEFON I LOVE YOU STEFON

*ahem*

So I should save that for you, yeah?

I have choice paralysis. Shakespeare? Documentary? Dance movie? Classic of the '40s?

Nap?

Nap.

You SERIOUSLY haven't heard of this yet? Oh my. Go watch the trailer. Now. Hehehehe.
22nd-Feb-2011 05:26 pm (UTC)
Just remember-you can't unGoogle it.
22nd-Feb-2011 09:33 pm (UTC)
Be happy that you do not know. Unless you have already googled it, in which case, I'm so sorry. So very, very sorry.

I'm Netflixing at the moment, but I might move over to Amazon Prime later.
22nd-Feb-2011 05:28 pm (UTC)
Alas, they are not offering Fringe or The Vampire Diaries or How I Met Your Mother or The IT Crowd in this deal!
22nd-Feb-2011 06:47 pm (UTC)
Sadness... neither are they offering DC Animated Universe stuff. I'm in the midst of an Amazon Prime trial at the moment so maybe I'll poke around, but that would get me to by a year in a heartbeat.
23rd-Feb-2011 09:27 pm (UTC)
I thought I saw Vampire Diaries there.
23rd-Feb-2011 09:46 pm (UTC)
They definitely have TVD episodes for purchase, but not for free for Prime customers. :-\
22nd-Feb-2011 05:30 pm (UTC)
From what I can tell this isn't a one day deal, which was my fear. Today is devoted to finishing my editing midterm.
22nd-Feb-2011 06:00 pm (UTC)
Thank you for the tip - we're watching MST3K, we ran out of them on Netflix :-)
22nd-Feb-2011 06:12 pm (UTC)
Holy shit. This couldn't have been better-timed for me.
22nd-Feb-2011 09:50 pm (UTC)
is this a permanent deal?
22nd-Feb-2011 09:58 pm (UTC)
Looks like it.

Apparently it's only 5,000 movies, but still. 5,000 movies. And a really diverse selection.
23rd-Feb-2011 12:02 am (UTC)
If/When you DO watch it, let me know how it is? I've been curious about it for a long time.
23rd-Feb-2011 12:11 am (UTC)
Better yet. Just go get the breakdown from Daniel Tosh from his show Tosh.0. It pretty much tells you all of it without the gory visuals.
23rd-Feb-2011 12:21 am (UTC)
And I think students can still get it for free!
