If they let you vote, and you're in Massachusetts, pay special attention to...

State Auditor?

Yes, State Auditor, one of the state government's internal referees. The Democrat front-runner is a corrupt son-of-a-bitch (Glodis) who has two opponents. Ignore Lake, the robo-calling academic from Northeastern; vote for honest but boring Suzanne Bump. All signs point to Bump as the one who'd actually, y'know, audit.

Unless you're a Republican (or "Unenrolled" who doesn't want to vote Democrat this year), in which case you should vote for Kamal Jain, who is the only candidate for this position who wants to open the entire process and make state spending visible to the public.

Actually, I think Connaughton is a decent candidate for the GOP and would do a decent job of it. Of course, what do I know? I voted for Bump :P

When my interview with her (Bump) is online I will let people know.

Actually, making state spending visible to the public is something the Treasurer can do, and Steve Grossman has been focusing on that in his campaign. He won the Democratic nomination for Treasurer today, yay.
