(Should've worn the smaller jeans. Ah well.)

It's this pattern.

Mmm...

Wait, am I supposed to be looking at the shawl? ;)
20th-Aug-2009 04:41 pm (UTC)
Oh wow it came out super cute! Good job!
20th-Aug-2009 04:53 pm (UTC)
And it was ludicrously easy. Went superfast. I started it at Kyth's on the 2nd, and had big chunks of days in between where I did no knitting whatsoever.

The beginning of the triangular shawl (OMG something that is not a rectangle) is up in my Ravelry projects now.

Sassy!
20th-Aug-2009 04:43 pm (UTC)
Yay pretty pretty!
20th-Aug-2009 04:50 pm (UTC)
Very sexy!

And the shawl is pretty nice, too.

To be as PC as possible, I'm going to agree with the above person. Very nice!
20th-Aug-2009 04:57 pm (UTC)
You, my dear, are entirely too sexy for my own good. ;-)

(The shawl, by the way, is amazing, and gorgeous, and beautiful. My problem is, so are you!)
20th-Aug-2009 04:57 pm (UTC)
And ze colors, zey glow.
20th-Aug-2009 04:59 pm (UTC)
It's all recycled sari silk, so it is so! many! vivid colors, and all different thicknesses, and little floofs of silk coming off it. Fun!
20th-Aug-2009 04:59 pm (UTC)
Oh very very nice!
20th-Aug-2009 05:15 pm (UTC) - Nice!
I love the coloring in it too! Great yarn, was it easy to work with?
24th-Aug-2009 06:20 pm (UTC) - Re: Nice!
I struggled with it on my first project with it, but I've adjusted. It's fun! Inexpensive, too! I used four balls for this, but could have gotten away with 3... I just like big wraps that I can snuggle down into.
20th-Aug-2009 05:16 pm (UTC) - OOOOHHHH
the colors!!!!!
Pretty!
20th-Aug-2009 06:06 pm (UTC)
It is knitted!
20th-Aug-2009 06:19 pm (UTC)
What size needles?

I am almost finished w/ a handbag made from the same yarn, but it was on 11's and is tightly knitted, I like the big spaces in your shawl!
24th-Aug-2009 06:21 pm (UTC)
11s! It's the second row of the pattern that gives you the nice big spaces - alternating yo/k2tog.
20th-Aug-2009 06:21 pm (UTC)
Awesome! I love the richness of the jewel tones; I'm always a sucker for that.
24th-Aug-2009 06:21 pm (UTC)
Me too. :)
20th-Aug-2009 07:04 pm (UTC)
Yay!
20th-Aug-2009 07:18 pm (UTC)
So pretty! I especially love the way it makes you all vivid against a very... neutral... background.
24th-Aug-2009 06:21 pm (UTC)
What a tactful description of my mother's house. :)
20th-Aug-2009 08:01 pm (UTC)
You and the shawl both look fabulous!
24th-Aug-2009 06:21 pm (UTC)
Thanks!
20th-Aug-2009 08:15 pm (UTC)
That looks fantastic! Great job!
20th-Aug-2009 09:14 pm (UTC)
Damn...forgive me for being forward but your ass looks totally fabulous in these pics. I totally have a huge crush on you. :)
24th-Aug-2009 06:22 pm (UTC)
w00t!

And that's not even the "my ass looks great in these jeans" pair. Will have to be photographed in those.
20th-Aug-2009 09:21 pm (UTC)
That's a little distracting.
21st-Aug-2009 12:37 am (UTC)
Lovely! Both the shawl and your booty.
21st-Aug-2009 03:24 am (UTC)
Pretty!

And the shawl's okay too.. :P

21st-Aug-2009 11:36 am (UTC)
That yarn is gorgeous! I love the way it almost seems to self-stripe along the diagonal.
24th-Aug-2009 06:14 pm (UTC)
It is Difficult Yarn, because it's thick-and-thin and doesn't have much give - but it's so beautiful. I'm kinda addicted to it. This is my third project with it, after a headband and a long skinny scarf
21st-Aug-2009 01:04 pm (UTC)
Beautiful! The openwork really shows off the yarn.
22nd-Aug-2009 02:29 pm (UTC)
Stunning! I am guessing you used huge needles for that to get the holes?
24th-Aug-2009 06:16 pm (UTC)
11s. The holes are from the yo/k2tog row of the pattern; it's just that and a straight-up knit row. Very easy!
26th-Aug-2009 02:48 pm (UTC)
* Looks up US to UK / metric needle size conversion *

Ah so quite large but, yes, I assumed much larger - the YO explains it! Nice!

The current copy of bacon cat I have doesn't fit my netbook background right, but that first picture of you does.
